From my series of railway landscapes, this winter painting on the outside of Leeds shows the slowing down of the train and also the slowing down of my process.

Strongly influenced by the seasons and weather, contemplative, slightly melancholy in the damp dark weather with short daylight hours. My attention was drawn to the colour and pattern on the shed doors, contrasting with the grey sky and surroundings.

On stretched canvas with wooden stretcher frame so it will hang without an additional frame. Fixings provided.
